The Governing Body at Tremains Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reflective and forward thinking Assistant Headteacher who is eager to contribute to the strategic direction of our inclusive and ambitious school community.

Tremains Primary School is a vibrant, nurturing and values driven learning community with 450 pupils aged 3 to 11, including three highly regarded Learning Resource Bases that are fully embedded within our school. The Role

The successful candidate will take a strategic lead on Wellbeing, Care, Support and Guidance, ensuring that every child feels safe, supported and able to flourish. They will also play a key role in strengthening community, business and parental engagement, including attendance, building meaningful partnerships that enrich the life of the school.

The successful candidate will:

- Be an excellent Foundation Phase practitioner with a deep understanding of early childhood development and high quality pedagogy.

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire, influence and collaborate effectively with pupils, staff, families and external partners.

- Model compassionate, inclusive and distributive leadership that nurtures a positive team culture.

- Show ambition, resilience and a commitment to continuous professional growth.

- Champion wellbeing across the school, ensuring robust systems of Care, Support and Guidance.

- Inspire and support colleagues in delivering a broad, creative and ambitious curriculum.

- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, local organisations and the wider community.

- Contribute innovative ideas that drive ongoing school improvement and align with our strategic vision.
