Term Time

Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Ogwr is seeking to appoint a Supervisory Assistant to work during the lunchtime period, between 11.30 and 13.30, Monday - Friday, term time only. 

Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be required to undertake the supervision of the children in all areas of the school and also supervising and actively engaging pupils in playground games.

Experience of working with children, and the ability to encourage positive relationships and play amongst pupils would be an advantage.

Start Date for Post: 05.01.2026

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
