Full-Time, 30 hours per week (8:45am to 3:15pm)
38 weeks per year
G04 £15,900 - £16,166 per annum
Temporary with a view to be renewed on an annual basis according to need.
Term time only with no term time leave.
Required as soon as possible from September 2024 after enhanced DBS Clearance
The governors of this modern, large, thriving mainstream primary school seek to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to support the development of a child with additional learning needs in relation to his personal, self-care, communication and educational engagement and development. This vital role will enable access to learning within a mainstream setting for a wonderful pupil with Down's Syndrome by delivering specific programmes and making necessary adaptations to the curriculum.
Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area as appropriate. The pupil will be in Year 5 in September.
